B&B La Porta Vecchia is located among the small streets of Monopoli’s historic centre, just 100 metres from the rocky beach. It offers rustic-style accommodation and a homemade breakfast. Rooms are fitted with antique wooden furniture and chandeliers and many boast arched ceilings and stone walls. Each room is air conditioned and comes with a TV and private bathroom. At breakfast you can enjoy local food and homemade cakes and pies. It can be served either in the attic made in tufa stone or, during summer, on the 2 terraces overlooking the sea. Monopoli Cathedral is only 180 metres from Porta Vecchia B&B. Monopoli Train Station is a 15-minute walk away and links with Bari in 30 minutes.
